The Norwegian Kennel Club
The Norwegian Kennel Club (NKK) was founded in 1898, and is the largest organisation for dog owners in Norway.
The NKK has 270 breed and activity clubs as members. Through them we organize more than 90 000 individual members, and a separate youth organisation, the NKKU.
We register approximately 35 000 puppies annually, and our health department registers HD/ED and other health information.
The NKK has been a member of the FCI since 1935, and we have a long tradition of hosting large dog shows. Our first FCi international show was hosted as early as 1936.
The NKK has 35 employees working at our administrative headquarters in Oslo.
