International shows are arranged in accordance with the FCI regulations, and the Norwegian Kennel Club's show rules. CACIB and CAC is awarded.

The Nordic show is meant to be a complement to the current national and international shows. In the Nordic shows, dogs will compete for both national and Nordic Show Certificates. Veteran and Junior dogs are also able to compete for Nordic certificates, something that is currently not possible when competing for CACIB. The current Nordic Champion title is replaced by the new Nordic Show Champion title.
